Equipment issues are rare, but they can happen — and when they do, Zenith Digital Menus is here to help. Our done-for-you service doesn't stop after installation. We provide ongoing support to ensure your digital menus stay up and running.
Common Issues & How We Handle Them
Most "screen down" situations fall into a few categories:
- Media player issue: If the media player loses its connection or stops displaying content, we can often diagnose and fix it remotely. A simple restart or re-push of content resolves most problems within minutes.
- Wi-Fi or network issue: If your internet goes down, the media player continues to display the last loaded content. Your menus keep showing even without an active connection. Once the internet is restored, everything reconnects automatically.
- Screen hardware failure: If the TV itself fails, you'll need a replacement screen. We can help you source a new one and schedule an installation visit to get you back up and running quickly.
- Power outage: If power is interrupted, your system will come back online automatically when power is restored. The media player boots up and resumes displaying your menu content — no intervention needed.
Our Support Process
- Contact us: Call 916-960-3519 or email us to report the issue.
- Remote diagnosis: We attempt to resolve the issue remotely first. Many problems can be fixed without a site visit.
- On-site visit (if needed): If the issue requires hands-on attention, we'll schedule a visit to your location. On-site support is billed at our standard service rate. For locations more than 40 miles from Sacramento, a trip charge of $2 per mile applies.
Built-In Reliability
The media players we install are designed for continuous commercial use. They're not consumer devices that overheat or crash — they're built to run 24/7 reliably. Combined with our remote monitoring capability, most issues are resolved before you even notice them.
Peace of Mind
This is a key benefit of choosing a managed service like Zenith Digital Menus. You're not on your own troubleshooting technology — that's our job. Whether you're in Sacramento, Roseville, San Francisco, or anywhere in our service area, we've got you covered.
