Here are general guidelines based on typical restaurant setups:

• 32–43 inches: Ideal for small cafes, coffee shops, and countertop-style displays where customers are standing close (3–8 feet away). Great for a focused menu with fewer items.
• 50–55 inches: The most popular size for restaurants and bars. Works well behind counters and in dining areas where customers are 8–15 feet away. Provides excellent readability for full menus.
• 65–75 inches: Best for large spaces, drive-throughs, and high-traffic areas where customers may be 15–25 feet away. Perfect for displaying comprehensive menus with multiple categories.

Factors We Consider

When recommending a screen size, we look at:

• Viewing distance: How far away will your customers be when reading the menu? This is the single most important factor.
• Amount of content: A pizza shop with 20 items needs less screen space than a full-service restaurant with 80+ items across appetizers, entrees, drinks, and desserts.
